Brian J. T. Watts is a Certified Trainer/Consultant, a Highly Qualified, Tenured, Certified Mathematics Teacher (6-12) and a certified administrator (k-12)

Teachers are inundated with grading papers, calling parents, meetings and lesson plans.  Besides all of that they still have to teach.  Because of the all of the responsibilities today’s teachers endure, it is imperative that they experience professional development seminars that can remind them of their number one responsibility; the students.  There are two interactive seminars that all teachers, administrators and staff should experience: Classroom Management & Discipline and Student Engagement.

Time, it has been said, is the coin of learning. Yet every teacher has known the frustration of losing valuable instructional time to matters of discipline, just as every student has known the frustration of losing valuable learning time to matters of discipline. For some teachers and for some students, the amount of time lost is very great.  My classroom management & discipline seminar is a highly effective program that was initially developed over 27 years ago with the help and guidance of Dr. Madeline Hunter and Coach John Wooden, both of UCLA.  This seminar is a program proven to restore that lost time to teachers and students in a way that is simple, fair, and mutually respectful. I believe that it can be effective for you in your unique situation.

In addition to managing the classroom, many teachers find it difficult to engage all students.  My student engagement seminar will reveal the secrets of differentiating instruction and allow teachers to write lesson plans that will engage students of all types.  It is widely known that disengaged students can cause all kinds of problems in class.  The more students you engage, the less behavior problems.

Who should attend my training seminars?

General education teachers K through 12, special education teachers, principals, counselors, psychologists, at-risk coordinators, title 1 coordinators, special education directors, staff development directors, para-professionals, educational assistants, administrators, curriculum directors, etc.
