I, Brian John Thomas Watts, was born in the South Bronx section of New York City.  I attended R. T. Hudson Elementary School and was enrolled in the Macy Medical Professions Program at A. Philip Randolph Campus High School.  After high school I decided to major in mathematics at Oakwood College (now Oakwood University). I believe that my life at Oakwood greatly influenced my love for speaking as well as promoting and producing concerts.

After leaving Oakwood, while teaching mathematics at Northeastern Academy, and produced, promoted, and emceed concerts (while managing many groups) under my company (B! Watts Productions).

It was during my time as a mathematics teacher in Metro Nashville Public Schools, I attended Tennessee State University and received a Master’s Degree and an Educational Specialist Degree in Education with a concentration in Administration & Supervision.  It is also during this time that my national educational consulting career began.

After a few life changes, I returned to the Bronx where I worked for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as a consultant providing professional development for teachers on mathematics, science and english classes.  After two years, I decided to follow my heart and signed a two year contract to teach overseas in Kuwait.  This experience changed my life!  This journey gave me an education incomparable to all I had learned previously.  At the end of his contract (and at the age of 50), I decided to return home to work independently as an author and consultant with a primary goal of  aiding parents, teachers and students in the education process.

My joys are acting, singing, traveling, and writing – I’ve just finished authoring my first book.  But my all-time favorite, and one of my greatest joys is emceeing programs.  Hosting programs is a special job entrusted to special individuals,  I am a big fan of the spontaneous decisions that must be made in front of the crowd and behind the scenes.  Keeping the show flowing with humor, decisiveness and dedication to the given theme takes skill and I have been told that I possess that skill.
