Brian John Thomas Watts was born in the South Bronx section of New York City.  He attended R. T. Hudson Elementary School and was enrolled in the Macy Medical Professions Program at A. Philip Randolph Campus High School.  After high school Brian majored in mathematics at Oakwood College (now Oakwood University). While at Oakwood, Brian had positive experiences and was involved in many groups, jobs and activities including: The Aeolians, Only Believe, Male Chorus, Head Night Dean, Social Vice President, Grounds, Assistant Supervisor of Student Center/Skating Rink Task Force, WOCG, etc.  Brian believes that his life at Oakwood greatly influenced his love for speaking and promoting and producing concerts.

After leaving Oakwood, moving to Tennessee and a brief attempt at graduate school, Brian returned to the New York/New Jersey Area and taught mathematics at Northeastern Academy, and produced, promoted, and emceed concerts (while managing many groups) under his company (B! Watts Productions). Although he was extremely successful in the tri-state area of NY, NJ and CT, Brian relocated to the Middle Tennessee area.

While working as a mathematics teacher in Metro Nashville Public Schools, Brian attended Tennessee State University and received a Master’s Degree and an Educational Specialist Degree in Education with a concentration in Administration & Supervision.  He also began consulting high school teachers in various cities across the country.

After a few life changes, Brian returned to the Bronx where he worked for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as a consultant providing professional development for teachers on mathematics, science and english classes.  After two years, he followed his heart and signed a two year contract to teach overseas in Kuwait.  The experience changed his life and gave him an education incomparable to all he had learned previously.  At the end of his contract (and at the age of 50), Brian decided to return home to work independently as an author and consultant.  His goal was to aid parents, teachers and students in the education process.

Brian enjoys acting, singing, traveling, and writing and has started to author his first book.  However, one of his greatest joys is emceeing programs.  He has a quick, although appropriate wit and a gift for connecting with the audience.  He is also willing to travel to emcee and/or host church programs, concerts, banquets, youth programs, etc…
